Blue reaches the body before it becomes a color name.

ULTRAMARINE A ceremonial distance. Dense blue makes a small room feel deliberate, almost vowed. Gold beside it becomes warmer; skin becomes briefly unreal.

CYAN Electric proximity. Cyan belongs to screens, pools and the moment daylight becomes technical. It feels near even when the surface is far away.

COASTAL GREY Weather entering thought. This blue is difficult to isolate because cloud, water and concrete exchange it continuously. Its emotion is not sadness but suspension.

The twelve imagined places in the series include a glacier corridor, tiled kitchen, midnight pool and dawn where blue is disappearing. Their shared hue does not produce a shared feeling. Material, scale and neighboring light rewrite it.

Choose one blue object and observe it at five hours. The exercise replaces palette selection with attention.
