The museum contains no fakes. Every object is authentically impossible.
Gallery 1 A sphere holding the color of one particular afternoon. The label lists no pigment. Visitors recognize the light but disagree about the year.
Gallery 2 A chair that becomes opaque when someone feels lonely. Conservators cannot test it without changing the result.
Unfinished wing Tools for conditions without instruments. A compass for difficult conversations, a pocket window and a clock measuring attention wait behind temporary walls.
The museum’s objects reveal wishes more accurately than inventions: time should slow, distance should soften, memory should become holdable. Their failure to exist does not make those desires less real.
At closing, visitors leave through an empty gift shop. Nothing can be reproduced without destroying what made it singular.
